Landfall Tauraka is Aotearoa New Zealand’s longest-running arts and literary journal, celebrating more than 75 years of publishing the best in writing and art.

About the Journal

Each issue features two full-colour art portfolios alongside a vibrant mix of fiction, poetry, essays, cultural commentary and reviews. More than 2500 contributors have produced nearly 9000 works, making Landfall Tauraka a living taonga and a vital platform for diverse voices.

The journal’s new name reflects its founding spirit and its contemporary kaupapa as a harbour for creativity, critical thought and artistic practice.
