On Wednesday 14th October we celebrated the launch of Ross Webb’s The Cost of Living at Unity Books Wellington. A large and enthusiastic crowd came out to support this compelling and timely account of the rise and fall of the Federation of Labour through the 70s-80s.
New Zealand Council of Trade Unions (NZCTU) President Sandra Grey launched the book, praising the thoughtful and accessible writing style, and highlighting its relevance to the challenges still faced today.
Warm congratulations to Ross, our sincere thanks to Sandra and the Unity Books Wellington team, and thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate!
