Edwin’s Egg and Other Poetic Novellas
Cilla McQueen was New Zealand Poet Laureate from 2009 to 2011. One of the major writing projects undertaken during her laureateship was Serial, which she described as ‘exploring a space between prose and poetry’. First published in chapters on the Poet Laureate website, the work is now presented in book form for the first time as Edwin’s Egg and Other Poetic Novellas.
This volume brings together McQueen’s evocative text with images from the collection of the Alexander Turnbull Library.
